The short answer

For most questions, two systems lead the lineup: The Champion, a water softener with integrated carbon filtration for the whole home, and The MVP, a reverse osmosis system for purified drinking water at the kitchen sink. Many homes pair them. Softeners remove hardness; scale inhibitors only condition it.

Comparison

"Published certification" lists only what Varsity or ENPRESS publish. "None published" means the manufacturer names no third-party standard for that system. Every recommendation follows a free in-home water test.
