Acidic water: protecting pipes and fixtures
Last updated
The short answer
Water in its purest form is neutral, but its pH can slip. Acidic water is corrosive to pipes, fixtures and appliances downstream. An acid neutralizer uses natural calcite media to gently raise pH, with a calcite plus Corosex blend for stronger correction.
